It is often said that “if you really want to learn something, learn to teach it.” Whether your goal is to teach yoga or to deepen your personal practice, our yoga intensive (teacher training) program supports you in beginning your journey, making a commitment to practice, and connecting with your authentic self. If you are an existing or aspiring yoga teacher, you will learn helpful skills for teaching safely and effectively. Our teacher training is offered in a variety of formats designed to fit various lifestyles. All of our yoga intensive (teacher training) programs are registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level.

Current Teacher Training Program:

White Orchid is proud to offer their 200-hour Teacher Training program, the premier Ashtanga-based and vinyasa teacher training program in the Tampa Bay area since 2005, ideal for any yoga practitioner, of any level and background, with a desire to gain a deeper understanding of the yoga philosophy. Through regular asana practice (physical postures), group meditation, chanting, discussion and practice teaching, the White Orchid Yoga Teacher Training program offers a deeply transformational experience.
Offered in either an intensive format which meets six days per week for one month, or in an extended format which meets on selected weekends over eight months, the White Orchid Yoga Teacher Training program is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level and has graduated over 100 students, many of whom are teaching in the Tampa Bay Area and around the world. Yoga Alliance 200 Hour 1-month Teacher Training begins June 4, 2012 in Clearwater

Teaching does not have to be your goal. If you are passionate about yoga, Ally’s trainings provide an opportunity for any yoga practitioner to deepen your overall understanding of the yoga philosophy and its application in today’s world. If you wish to teach, this program will provide the knowledge and tools you need to do so effectively and confidently. You will also earn your 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher’s certification with the Yoga Alliance. Weekend programs are perfect for those with full-time jobs or busy lives!

Topics Include:	History of Yoga Intensive Asana study Anatomy and Physiology Principles of Pranayama Introduction to Meditation Teaching Beginners Subtle Body and Chakras Bhakti Yoga (Chanting) Adjustments Yoga Sutras Business of Yoga
Tuition:	$2850 – Save $200 if paid in FULL by February 15 Maximum of 20 students accepted. Additional applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
